This professional high quality aluminum paint is formulated of selected resins and a large quantity of aluminum powder. This asphalt based paint gives, once dried, a reflective, glossy and durable finish that reduces temperature absorption and delays supports contraction and dilatation. It protects surfaces against UV and oxidation. This product is used as a reflective and decorative coating for roofs, flashings, utility buildings, facings, sidings and metal structures. This paint is also used on dry protection coverings or on any other stable bituminous coating, as well as coal tar coatings and flashing. It can also be applied on metal surfaces that have a very dry coat of primer or paint. Can also be used as a protection coating for spayed polyurethane insulation. |
| Application |
Application: Avoid use if showers are foreseen. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, dirt, rust, oil, grease, flakes and other contaminants. Applied paints and coatings must be in good condition and strongly adhered. Preferably, fill holes, cracks and week spots with Thiroco’s Plastic Cement.
Stir well before using. Apply with a squeegee, a brush, a roller or a paintbrush. Avoid over-brushing. First, apply a coat on overlaps and nails; than, apply a coat uniformly over the entire surface. It is recommended to apply two coats at a rate of 0.25 to 0.50 L/m². |

The use of this product in specific purposes is left at user’s discretion. For more information, contact the manufacturer. Avoid contact with polystyrene insulation foam or any solvent alterable materials. If product is applied near a ventillation unit or an air conditioner, take necessary precautions to avoid solvent infiltration inside. It is not recommended on barewood or on porous surfaces. Make sure that bituminous surfaces or coal tar coatings are stable, completely dry and free of volatile residues. This paint may crack on smooth multi-coats asphalt roof coverings due to the instability of bitumen. This product may change color in aluminum oxidizing environments. Do not apply if showers are foreseen or if there is a possibility of dew point before it is completely dry because humidity can tarnish freshly applied coating. Direct application of product over felt coatings may affect its coating and result in sag of the felt on slope surfaces. Do not apply on wet surfaces.Protect freshly applied product and open container from open flame and adjacent welding activity. |

Contains petroleum distillates. May cause dizziness, headache or nausea. May cause nose, throat, eyes and skin irritation. Keep away from heat sources, sparks and flames. Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not breathe vapors. Wear safety glasses and appropriate gloves.
FIRST AID: Eyes : In case of contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention immediately; for skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water. If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If difficulties continues, get medical assistance immediately. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.
