Crack filler of THIROCO is a product formulated with asphalt of professional selection for multiple purpose. We use it mainly to repair and seal cracks up to a 6.4 mm deep (1/4 in) on roofs in bituminousshingles, solins and others. It adheres in any seasons, even on dry or wet surfaces. |
| Surface Preparation |
| Avoid use if showers are foreseen. Surfaces must be sound, clean and free of dust, dirt, rust, oil, grease, chipped paint, frost or any other contaminants. |
| Application |
| Do not apply if showers are foreseen. Apply with a brush or a paintbrushon horizontal or vertical surfaces. Fill cracks having up to 6.4 mm deep (1/4 in) and cover them with 3 mm (1/8 po) of product. Having filled deep cracks, let dry one hour to avoid that the second coat shrinks or splits. To repair deepercracks or holes, place a fiber mesh under the coat of surface. To ease low temperature application, keep the product in a warm place. |
