Temperature and relative humidity are critical factors for an appropriate drying. For the application and curing of SCELLEUR 100, temperature should be more than 10ºC, however best conditions are 25°C and 50% of relative humidity. During application, allow air circulation without draught. The use of Scelleur 100 as a first coating will reduce to approximately 30 minutes waiting time before application of finishes THIROCLAIR, THIROTHANE or AQUAVERNIS. The use of this primer will prevent the varnish to penetrate in the wood.

Pour a small quantity directly on the floor or in a paint pan, spread the finish evenly and uniformly using a pure silk bristle brush or a pad applicator. Allow approximately 20 to 30 minutes of drying prior to sand lightly the surface with a sandpaper of 180 to 220 along the wood grain and taking care of removing any dust coming from sanding before application of the chosen finish coating.

With the use of this product, it is not necessary to remove food from application site. Clean tools with mineral spirits. Allow approximately 20 minutes of drying before stepping on the wood floor.

After date of purchase, this product can be stored 1 year when kept in its tightly closed original container. Store at temperatures between 15°C and 30°C. KEEP FROM FREEZING. Do not alternate with another product.
