| EAGLE TACKY CRETE is an flexible odorless, environmentally friendly blend of elastomers and cement at two components specifically designed to upgrade materials of all kinds. High performance at low cost, this product will allow you to upgrade your surfaces at affordable prices. For surfaces of asphalt shingles, steel, wood, concrete, sandstone or even on rubber surfaces, it comes in several colors with some pastel shades new trend. Easy to apply in addition to being non-slip, water repellent, it reduces the absorption of heat which helps keep a roof or a surface temperate. It resists to cracking, peeling, UV rays, mildew and discoloration. It is the ideal product to resurface your balcony, your foundation or retype your roof. |
| Surface Preparation |
It is important to propuly prepare the surface to be covered. Thoroughly clean the surface with water at high pressure with a universal degreaser or brush and rinse thoroughly with water. Surfaces must be sound, clean and free of rust, peeling paint, dust, dirt, grease and mildew. It is best to sand smooth surfaces for a good bonding. | Mixture |
Pour into a container of Part B (liquid). If you want to add color* to the mix, it is should be done at this point to get a nice uniform color and gradually add part A by mixing mechanically using a stirrer to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes then apply the Tacky Crete.
*The color pigments are sold separately and must be added to the mixture of Part A before mixing with Part B. |
| Application |
Do not dilute the mixture with another liquid than the one sold with the product. For laying and maturation of the Eagle Tacky Crete, it is necessary to have an ambient temperature above 10 °C and below 35 °C. Keep from freezing and from rain for 48 hours after application. Avoid fast drying. During hot season, protect from sun or wind. Avoid application in full sunlight. Protect the surface from rain until completely dry. Apply EAGLE Tacky Crete using a paintbrush, a scrubbing brush, a scraper or a sprayer. Spread the product in width of asphalt shingles or in height for metal sheet. |
| Drying Time |
| Depending on the temperature and ambient humidity, allow a drying time of at least 2 hours before applying sealant. The temperature and relative humidity are factors that can affect the drying time. |
Coverage |
| 22.7 kg cover from 14 m² to 28 m² (150 to 300 ft²) at 3 mm (1/8 inch) thickness. Coverage rate is dependent of the surface porosity, application method, surface condition and worker abilites. |
| Storage |
| Keep from freezing. It can be stored in original container, tightly closed, for 1 year from date of purchase. |

| Caution |
Do not use on a roof covered with tar and gravel or requiring major repairs. Do not do outside work if the temperature is uncertain for the next 48 hours. Keep from freezing.
Store and apply at temperatures between 10 °C and 30 °C. Make sure that the work be done safely. |
