All surfaces to be covered shall be structurally sound, clean and free from traces of dust, oil, grease, wax, paint, curing agent, coatings and loose particles. They must also be exempt from any trace or presence of acids, concentrated alkalis, chemical cleaning agent or any other material that could reduce adhesion.
The only recommended wood substrate for floors is new exterior grade plywood installed on interior floor in dry areas.
All concrete substrates shall be completely cured and at least 28 days old. They must be roughened for better adhesion.
Ambient surface and product temperature must be superior than 10ºC (50ºF) and lower than 35ºC (95ºF) during application and for the first hour. |
