Remove as much excess grout from the job surface by using the edge of the trowel rubber maintained at 90º and passing diagonally across the joints. Let the grout dry until there is no more transfer of product during a light finger pressure on joints. With a cellulosic sponge, using as little water as possible, place and smooth grout, passing diagonally across the joints while cleaning tile surface. Rinse sponge regularly in order to remove excess color and sand. It is necessary to twist up any excess water from the sponge to have a uniform and efflorescence free joint. Wait until next day before removing residual film left by with a clean dry white cloth. |
