Description
SEALFLEX™ ROOF is a 100% acrylic water-based emulsion specially formulated to cover flat (no tar) and shingle roofs. This waterproofing membrane reflects sun rays, resists U.V rays and is long-lasting. It resists to mildew, discoloration, cracking, peeling-off and chalking.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces must be sound, clean and free from dust, dirt and mildew. Holes and cracks can be repaired with Sealflex™ Colored Plastic Cement, allowing a 24 hours drying. For surfaces in contact with metals, use Elastomeric Roof Coating
APPLICATION
Avoid application under full sun or over hot surfaces. Do not dilute. Stir well before use and close container between uses. For application and curing of Sealflex Roof, it is necessary to have a temperature higher than 10ºC. Protect surface against rain untilitis completely cured. Make sure roofs have slope to shed water. It is recommended to apply 2 to 3 coats to achieve a dry 0.76 mm (30 mils or 1/32’’) thickness. SEALFLEX™ Roof can be applied with a paintbrush, a roller or an industrial sprayer. Always spread the coating in the same direction. Apply the second coat at right angle of the first one, allowing few hours to dry. Clean tools with water while product is still fresh.
STORAGE
Keep from freezing. Store at temperatures between 10ºC and 30ºC. This product can be stored 1 year after purchasing date when kept in its tightly closed original container.
