Description
CR400 is an acrylic latex paste adhesive for insulation panels. It has a strong initial adhesion and sets rapidly to offer a resistant and flexible hold. Specially formulated for rigid insulation panels nstallations over concrete, wood, masonry or any other porous materials
Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be even, clean, dry and free of dust, rust, oil, grease, frost, flaky paint or from any contaminants that might decrease adhesion. Plaster concrete and masonry walls to obtain uniform surfaces.
Application

Notched trowel: Apply adhesive with a 3 mm (1/8 in.) V-notched trowel (recommended method to bond polystyrene panel or gypsum panels to insulation surfaces, see restrictions).

In bead: Apply a 12 mm (1/2 in.) diameter bead at 150 mm (6 in.) between the axles forming a serpentine. In drops: Apply nut-sized drops every 150 mm (6 in.). Once flattened out, the drops will have40 to 50 mm (1 1/2 to 2 in.) diameter. Set the insulation panel in place by firmly pressing in several areas for maximum contacts.

Note: Joints must be seal to prevent air infiltration behind insulation panels. Drying time depends on application method, temperature and surface porosity.
Clean up
Clean tools and equipment with water.

This product is available in tube of 300 ml or 1kg, 4kg and 20kg pail.
Shelf Life
12 months after purchasing date when kept in its tightly closed original container. Keep from freezing

Restriction

Do not apply gypsum or any other kind of coverings before complete drying of adhesive and checking if adhesive is strong enough to support this weight. Do not use as an adhesive for mechanical fasteners.

Warranty

The customer shall verify of the suitability of this product for the intended purpose. Applicator’s skill, weather and surface conditions being beyond manufacturer’s control, we limit our liability to replacement of defective material only in sealed container, within 1 year of proof of purchase.
