CR-2200 Condor™ Protect, Universel Sealant

Description

CR2200 is an universal sealant formulated to be applied on Prestige CR2100. Can be also used to protect concrete, masonry and brick. It is formulated to protect against dust and ease maintenance. Ready to use.

Surface Preparation

It is very important to clean all old surfaces with a universal degreaser, to brush and rinse with plenty of water (see “surface cleaning” section). Surface to be covered has to be sound, clean, dry, without humidity and non-crumbled. It must be free of any residues such as dust, dirt, efflorescence, oil, paint, glue, sealer or any other foreign materials which could affect bonding. Surface Cleanning

Clean with a universal degreaser and use a power washer unit with at least 2400 psi pressure. Clean the surface with slow sweeping movements from left to right holding the tip 10 cm from the surface. A significant difference in cleanliness of the area should be observed using this method. To clean old Prestige surfaces, it is preferable to keep pressure jet further away from the surface, so it won’t be damaged.

Application

Apply in thin coats with a paintbrush, a roller or a spray gun. Two thin coats are recommended for better results. Setting time is approximately 6 hours per coats. It may vary according to thickness of application, weather condition, ambient temperature and relative humidity.
After installation of Protect, surfaces must be protected for at least 24 hours from rain, condensation or frost until drying is completed.
We recommend applying a coat of CR2200 every year.

Clean up

Clean tools and equipment with soap ang wather.

Shelf Life

12 months after purchasing date when kept in its tightly closed original container. Keep from freezing.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Avoid working under the sun, by cold or rainy weather. Surface temperature must be between 10ºC and 30ºC day and night with relative humidity lower than 85% when applying and drying delays. Do not let product dry on hands or tools; clean with soap and water while the product is still fresh. Do not begin outside work if weather is unsure. Keep this product from freezing during storage and application. Close container after each use. This product can be stored in its original packaging, hermetically closed, during 1 year from purchasing date. Frozen product should be correctly discarded. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Because Condor Chemicals Inc. has no control over proper surface preparation or method of application, no guarantee as to results is offered, expressed, or implied. Condor Chemicals guarantees the content of the can only. Any defective product will be replaced free of charge or by a refund of the material at manufacturer’s option. Labor costs are not covered by this warranty for claims of any kind. Therefore, we limit our liability to the replacement of the content of the can with a proof of purchase, stored in its original, unopened container during 1 year after the date of purchase.
