| Description |
| The CR-200 is an asbestos free all-purpose waterproof mastic asphalt based, intended for application on wet surfaces. Its gelatinous consistency allows easy application e ven by cold weather. Does not leak on vertical surfaces when application does not exceed 6 mm (1/4 in.) thickness. Insures ease application being less sensitive to temperature variation. Mainly used to bond asphalt shingles but also for flashings, copings, skylights, lanterns and sign fixation parts installations and repairs. Can be use to glue back asphalt shingles and protect them against wind. |
| Surface Preparation |
| Surfaces must be sound, clean and free of dust, dirt, rust, oil, grease, chipped paint, frost or any other contaminants. |
| Application |
| Apply with a putty knife, a trowel or by hand with a glove. To repair or install new flashings, apply a continuous 3 mm (1/8 in.) coat on the surface and exceed by 150 mm (6 in.) on each sides. To ease application in cold season, keep the product in a warm place. |
| Clean up |
| Clean tools and equipment with mineral spirits. |
